Hello my name is Sicilian Rose and my horse is Miss Cowgirl.   I started riding at age 15 doing local shows, gymkhana, trail riding, parades and also other equestrian events.   As a young teen, I participated in many parades riding Color Guard for the Buckskin Horse Association. We travelled all over Southern California to ride in parades.

The early riding days were filled with lots of memories going to rodeo, parades and being part of a young group of riders that all had a love of horses. This was a special time in my life that I will treasure forever!  I gave up my horses when I got married and moved away, and did not ride for many years. 

I now own two American Quarter Horses and both of them provide me with so much love! Miss Cowgirl is my trail partner and enjoys parades and other events. Bella is an awesome Quarter Horse that is in training for Barrel Racing.

Joining the Victorian Roses Ladies Riding Society has been so rewarding, and has given me an opportunity to be part of an organization that raises money for Horse Rescue.  I look forward to all the fundraising events and participating in parades and other activities with the Victorian Roses!
